“Really special day with Carlos. He picked us up and drove us to a great hot spring in the mountains. After a half hour we started our upriver and mountain hike. We hiked for another couple hours to another hot spring where we rested in the spring and explored a little before hiking back. Carlos pointed out plants and other things to see that might be of interest. After a full day of exploring we stopped for a late lunch at a local restaurant. There was also back-and-forth over paying for transportation to the trailhead, which can be reached on your own.
